Payment Schedule

For Peru Trip Only: Deposit at time of reservation $1,000
60 days before trip start date: The remaining balance is due.

Prices are listed in US dollars and all payments must be made in US dollars by credit card, check, or wire transfer.

For other workshops, payment is due as soon as the workshop is confirmed with you by me.

Pricing Details

Prices are per person based on double occupancy and do not include airfare. What is and isn’t included is listed on the trip description page. Very rarely, prices are subject to change based on inflation or currency fluctuations along with high tourist season. If that’s the case, we will discuss this prior to the departure.

Single Occupancy

Accommodations are based on double occupancy. Participants who request single accommodations (subject to availability) must pay a single supplement fee, which I will provide to you before your payment. Some places we travel, there is no option for single occupancy and we will be staying in basic rooms with 2-4 beds in a room.

Minimum Age

The minimum age to travel on our tours without a legal guardian is 18 at the time of travel. All travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, or by an escort over the age of 18 which has been authorized by the legal guardian. The legal guardian will be required to sign a document authorizing an escort.

Maximum Age

There is no set maximum age, but you are responsible for being fit and able to fully participate in our tours. You acknowledge and accept that you are physically and mentally sound to take part.

Your Details

You will need to send us all of your travel arrangements including flights and pre or post-trip plans at least 45 days before the beginning of the trip.

For international travel, we will be requesting your copies of your passports.

For domestic workshops, you do not need to send me your travel arrangements.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy

If you must cancel, the following fees will apply. These are calculated from the day we receive your formal written cancellation notice, via email or mail.

If you want to transfer to another trip, we will do our best to place you on a future tour that has availability and where the dates work with you.

Cancellation Refunds

90 days or more prior to trip start date: You will be refunded the entire cost.
60-89 days prior to departure: You will be refunded 75% of total trip cost if paid in full or 50% of deposit if only deposit has been paid.
45-59 days prior to departure: you will be refunded 50% of total trip cost.
0-44 days or less: you will be refunded 0% of the the total trip cost.

Canceled Trips

We reserve the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including insufficient sign-ups/reservations or logistical conflicts that may make the trip impossible to run. If this happens, a full refund of all payments on the ground are reimbursed, which will release us of any further liability.

If a trip is cancelled due to force majeure (conflict, natural disasters, unsafe conditions, etc.), We will refund the amount of the trip cost not already advanced for hotel/lodge bookings, reservations, tickets, transportation, etc. We will do our best to get your balance back to you quickly; however, we can not guarantee that you will recover any or all of the advanced payments made. We are not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparation for the cancelled trip or additional arrangements you might have made before or after the scheduled itinerary.

Travel Protection Plan

We advise all trip members to purchase travel insurance (especially on international trips) before traveling to help mitigate personal loss or health issues during the trip.

We are not held liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness or death during your tour.

Liability Waiver

All trip members are required to complete a hold harmless liability waiver before the start of the tour. These will be sent to you upon reserving your spot.

Liability Limitations

The payment of a deposit represents acceptance by the tour member(s) of this Release of Liability, Assumption of All Risks and Binding Arbitration Agreement.

We are not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any third party or local supplier.

We are not responsible for any loss, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or change in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of any third party, attacks by or bites from wild or domestic animals, pests or insects, epidemics or the threat thereof, sickness, the lack of appropriate medical care and/or evacuation to same, if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, lost or misplaced luggage, acts of terrorism or the threat thereof, force majeure, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond its control.

You are voluntarily participating in this trip with knowledge of the inherent risks. You are responsible for your own welfare and accept all risks of of unanticipated events, inconvenience, illness, injury, mental trauma or death.

We reserve the right to refuse a trip member, or remove them from a trip without any refund if judged to be incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in these activities, or if it is detracting from the enjoyment of the trip by others. You agree to follow ALL rules of safety presented to you.

Acceptance of Risk

All workshops come with inherent risk. You are accepting that risk and are fully responsible for your safety and well-being throughout the tour/workshop.
